Vocal Mixing

Timing, effects, and mastering using Studio One, manual tuning using Melodyne Studio.
Effects will copy those of the original song as closely as possible, I won't design original effects.Check out this playlist for samples of my mixing!Timeline
Mixing will take up to a month depending on the song and my commissions queue, and you will receive the first draft within 2 weeks. When I have received confirmation on the finished mix as well as the final payment, you will receive the mix and acapella files in WAV format.Requirements
• Have all files ready beforehand, and please keep them all in one link/folder. This should include a file of the original song and a high quality file of the instrumental, both trimmed to the right length. If there is no official instrumental, then please provide a suitable filtered instrumental.• All files should be in WAV format, please do not submit other file formats since my programs do not support them.• Make sure there are absolutely no effects on any files, and no prior tuning if you are requesting tuning. There should also be no files that contain overlapping lines/breaths. It’s best if there is room left at the beginning and end of each take for breathing so that breaths aren’t cut off, but as long as nothing overlaps I can work with it.• Make sure the files are all compiled to the minimum amount of files possible and named according to the contents.• If tuning is requested, please try to record as close to the correct pitch as you can. If the notes are more than a semitone or two away from the correct pitch, they may get distorted.• Minimize background noise, room echo, popping, clicking, and clipping as much as possible. This will make your files easier to work with, if the audio quality is too poor for me to handle then I may deny your request.• Be sure to record any doubles or harmonies that you hear in the song if you want them in your cover, I will not create artificial doubles or harmonies.• Please understand that the results will depend heavily on the quality of the files and the way the vocal layers are sung. No two covers will sound the same even if they are mixed the exact same way.

This should include a file of the original song trimmed to the right length.• All files should be in MP3 or WAV format, please do not submit other file formats since my programs do not support them.• Make sure there are absolutely no effects or prior tuning on any files. There should also be no files that contain overlapping lines/breaths.• Make sure the files are all compiled to the minimum amount of files possible and named according to the cast member and contents.• Please try to record as close to the correct pitch as you can. If the notes are more than a semitone or two away from the correct pitch, they may get distorted.

Harmony Guides

Guides will take up to 2 weeks depending on your request size and my commissions queue. No revision requests will be taken except to correct mistakes. When the guides are complete, you will receive the files in MP3 format.Requirements

English Lyrics

Lyrics are adapted from another language, and will follow the translation as closely as possible. Some lines may be rewritten to retain a natural sound or poetic meaning in English.
